Nothing in the video directly confirms new downloadable content. However, its presentation differs from the studio’s typical promotional posts, leading some players to believe it may be teasing a future announcement.
One popular theory connects the footage to Godwyn, an important figure in Elden Ring’s mythology who was not explored as extensively as several other demigods. Fans have noted that routes through the Siofra region can eventually lead toward areas associated with his story.
The speculation has grown rapidly across social media, but it remains entirely unverified. FromSoftware has not announced a second Elden Ring expansion or indicated that development has resumed on major story content.
Shadow of the Erdtree launched two years ago and was widely presented as a substantial conclusion to Elden Ring’s main journey. The studio later expanded the franchise through the multiplayer spin-off Elden Ring Nightreign rather than another traditional campaign.
